Oh my goodness, I absolutely love it when we get to do engagement sessions at the Dayton Art Institute and the Dayton Masonic Temple! These locations are just so timeless and offer the perfect backdrop for capturing love stories. And let me tell you, Jayde and Ethan’s engagement session was nothing short of magical.

The weather couldn’t have been better! With the perfect temperature and a gentle breeze, we had ideal conditions to enjoy our time exploring the area and capturing beautiful moments. But the absolute highlight? The golden glow during sunset! Oh my gosh, it was absolutely perfect. That soft, warm light wrapped around them so beautifully and brought such a romantic feel to their photos.

I have to mention how dapper Ethan looked in his suit—it added such a classic, sophisticated touch to the session! And Jayde’s dress? So pretty! The way it flowed in the evening light was stunning, making every shot feel like a fairytale.

It turns out that these spots were the places to be that evening. We saw so many other photographers out there capturing special moments, too! A wedding couple glowed in all their newlywed excitement, another engagement session was happening nearby, a senior session full of excitement and energy, and even a quinceañera celebration!

Jayde and Ethan’s session at these iconic Dayton spots felt like a scene from a movie. I feel so lucky to have witnessed and captured their love story unfold in such a beautiful setting. I cannot wait to capture their wedding next year! It is going to be incredible to see them surrounded by their loved ones, saying “I do” and beginning their journey as husband and wife.
