Happy Thursday, friends! I am so excited to share Chelsea and Patrick’s beautiful spring engagement session at the Dayton Art Institute (DAI), Masonic Center, and Riverscape Metropark! I don’t think we could have asked for a better day. The glow from the sun was absolutely amazing and the warm weather finally seems like it’s going to stay. 

Chelsea’s stunning white dress paired with Patrick’s light gray blazer is out of this world. I don’t think they could have chosen a better outfit for their session! The colors mesh perfectly with the atmosphere of the Masonic Temple and the Dayton Art Institute and their pale neutral stone colors. This amazing color combo always photographs the best as well!

A few little fun facts about my history with the DAI; (1) when I was a senior in high school, my senior session was held there!; (2) my first set of headshots for Cassidy Alane Photography was captured at the DAI and the Masonic Temple; (3) when I was a college student in the graphic design program at Sinclair, we took field trips here for my art history class! I am always nostalgic when I come back to visit this area.

The sunset glow was phenomenal!

From there, we drove a few minutes down the road to Riverscape Dayton Metropark and finished our session with the golden hour glow.

Have I mentioned that the sunset glow was phenomenal yet? Because let me tell ya, the light gave the perfect golden glow for Chelsea and Patrick. I had all of the heart eyes during this session!
