I’m Cassidy, Ohio photographer, mom and lover of the beach and pineapples too! I’ll be right there with you counting down until your wedding. In the meantime, I’ll be customizing timelines, planning engagement shoots and editing photos with a detailed eye. Oh and I’m happiest on the beach with a pina colada in hand!

Happy Tuesday you guys! I am SO excited to share Elle and Sam’s dreamy engagement session AND their beautiful elopement on the blog today! This beautiful session was at the Lytle Park Hotel in Cincinnati, Ohio. You guys this is a STUNNING new hotel that opened up its doors just a month ago. I captured their charming ceremony on July 4th this is Sam and Elle’s favorite holiday — and mine as well!

Elle and Sam changed course for their big day. The original plan was to spend the day at Mojave East. Due to Covid-19, it was a priority to ensure the safety and wellness of all of their guests, so their new wedding date is July 4th of 2021.

Due to Ohio’s past Stay-at-Home order, the engagement session had to be postponed. We decided to combine their engagement session with their elopement ceremony. Elle was amazingly on top of things! She kept in constant contact with me during the weeks leading up to July 4th! I adore this so much, as I was able to plan and prepare for her elopement accordingly.

The Lytle Park Hotel, Autograph Collection is GORGEOUS!

The new venue was the Lytle Park Hotel in Cincinnati and oh my goodness, it’s gorgeous! As you roll up to the hotel entrance, the employees treat you like royalty and valet park your car. Before entering the lobby, there’s a wonderful aroma of a soothing and homey scent, pine mixed with something else. The valet and I couldn’t decide what the scent was! Their rooftop bar also has the most spectacular lighting for sunset portraits.

I was in love when I first saw Sam and Elle’s engagement outfits! They looked like they had just jumped out of a magazine cover! Adorning a long flowy white dress with subtle pale pink florals on Elle while Sam looked handsome in his light blue button-up shirt. These colors were absolutely perfect for them, as they are also their wedding colors!

As the engagement session ended, the couple changed into wedding attire for their intimate elopement ceremony. Elle rocked a short white dress with the most STUNNING pair of hot magenta heels! Her bouquet (created by Marmalade Lily) matched her heels to perfection.

You guys, Sam and Elle are one of the sweetest couples! They provided their trust in me with posing and finding locations throughout and around the hotel to celebrate their love. I’m beyond thankful that I was able to capture their small intimate ceremony with their closest friends and family.

I’m counting down the days to spending another July 4th with you two next year! Until then, here are a few of my favorites from your engagement session and elopement ceremony!
