I’m Cassidy, Ohio photographer, mom and lover of the beach and pineapples too! I’ll be right there with you counting down until your wedding. One of my favorite moments to experience during the wedding day is to watch the groom’s expression change when he sees his bride for the first time! Sometimes it’s an emotional experience for both the bride and the groom with tears of happiness. Sometimes my couples are crazy excited that they skip the tears and are jumping with joy! For Abby and Anthony, it was during the ceremony at The Honey Farm when they first saw each other.

Beautiful rustic wooden doors set up in the lawn that opens up to the aisle. Once the bridal party has entered, the doors shut again to prepare for the bride walking in. As Abby was being escorted down by her father when the doors reopened, Anthony turned to look. He immediately became overwhelmed with joy and could not stop smiling! A few tears shedding here and there and he subtly wiped them away.

Anyone could see that this would be one of the top moments of happiness in their lives, and rightfully so! Everything about this Saturday was perfect! The rain in the morning had cooled the temperature to a nice summer breeze and the weather was perfectly cloudy with peeks of sunshine poking through the clouds at ALL of the right moments! These two were so adorable all day. Every time Abby started walking, her husband would pick up her dress while we walked to the next location for portraits. Uhm. MY HEART! He’s so sweet to Abby and I cannot express how happy I am for them both!

The Honey Farm is one of my favorite wedding venues to photograph! Beautiful fields are to the right of the venue. A glistening pond is to the left as you drive in that leads to the back there where a renovated rustic barn is located for the reception hall. This barn had so many details! My favorite reception decoration was their card table. It was adorned with a custom sign: “In lieu of favors, donations have been made to Warren County Animal Shelter in your honor”. How AMAZING and THOUGHTFUL is this couple?! I’m so blessed that I was able to capture the once-in-a-lifetime moments for Abby and Anthony, and I can’t wait to share the entire gallery soon!
