Imagine carrying an item with life-changing significance in your pocket with you everywhere that you traveled, just waiting for the right moment to propose to the love of your life.
Can you picture sitting at the dinner table with your other half, eating a meal that she made for the both of you?
Just glancing up at her and deciding, “Yes. This is how I want it to be for the rest of my life.”
That’s how it was for Tre. He had been carrying around the ring waiting to propose to Trelyn. It happened to be their usual date night at home making a simple Mexican dish. The next thing that Trelyn knows is that Tre is asking her to marry him. Of course, she said yes!
I had such an enjoyable night with these two during their engagement session. There were so many moments where they would just burst out laughing together, making for the PERFECT opportunity to capture these two lovebirds.
Trelyn had the perfect pieces of jewelry to match with each of her outfits.
she loves butterflies!
Fun fact about Trelyn: she LOVES butterflies! I was in awe when she showed up! Trelyn wore a beautiful necklace with purple butterfly gems, along with a flowy pink dress adorned with a whimsical butterfly pattern.
I love how these two trusted me to pose them in locations that would have seemed a bit foolish to anyone passing by, especially when I had these two snuggling under a branch, sitting on a rock in a massive flower bush! The outcome was definitely worth it for those few silly moments. I’m so thankful that I was able to capture these memories for them
These two are getting married on Mackinac Island, Michigan. You guys. My family and I plan a vacation here every few years. So much history and beauty reside on this island. My parents were even married there! There are also a few butterfly houses on the island, which I know Trelyn will love! I already know that Trelyn and Tre’s wedding will be absolutely romantic and magical. Although I won’t be a part of their wedding day, I LOVED serving them with Cox Arboretum engagement photos in Ohio!
Here are a few of my favorites from their Cox Arboretum session, I’m counting down the days for you two!
Are you having a Mackinac Island Wedding? Send me a message, I would LOVE to be your wedding photographer!
