This Wegerzyns Garden Engagement session was a memorable one for us because I had known Ashley since we were both 5-years-old! Her family had just moved in across the street from me, and from then on, we were the best of friends. We played so many outdoor games in the cul-de-sac with our big wheels and rollerblades in the summertime! Walking to the local ice cream shop after school with a group of friends and Friday night football games during high school is one of my favorite past times.
Fast-forward to nearly 17 years later during our college years, Ashley began talking about her new friend a few times. It was easy to see that a strong relationship was going to form between the two. When Ashley asked me to take her graduation portraits at BGSU, I had the privilege of meeting Casey for the first time (along with his dog Louie). In just the short moments that I had met him, it was easy to see that they belonged together.
When she asked me if I’d like to be one of her bridesmaids along with photographing their engagement session, I was thrilled! The bridesmaids will be wearing a lovely spring-colored lavender dress! This beautiful couple is getting married next year in April 2020 at a DREAMY venue in South Carolina. When I say it’s a dreamy venue, I don’t mean it’s just pretty. It’s goals. The walls of Twigs Tempietto are white with creamy colored stone floors, and the florals are gorgeous. I truly CANNOT WAIT until Casey gazes with joy as his future wife walks down the aisle next year.

You can easily tell these two are meant to be with each other. Casey is constantly and effortlessly making his fiancé laugh, and they both understand each other’s sense of humor. I could take a picture of them smiling and laughing together every day!
I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect afternoon. Wegerzyns Garden was beautiful! Ashley and Casey were SO sweet and SO in love. I am so thankful that I get to serve couples who make my job the best one in the world.

UPDATE: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Ashley and Casey made the decision to move their wedding closer to home at The Brightside!
