Mollie and Ben’s November wedding at The Transept in Cincinnati was the perfect blend of timeless elegance, cozy fall romance, and joyful celebration. November weddings in Ohio can be unpredictable, but this day was absolutely beautiful and proof that late-fall weddings can be just as stunning as peak season dates. From classic attire to thoughtful details (and a fur jacket moment I will never get over), this wedding was such a joy to capture.

A Classic November Wedding at The Transept

The Transept is one of those venues that shines year-round, and Mollie and Ben’s wedding day highlighted just how magical it can be in November. The historic architecture, tall windows, and warm interior tones make it an ideal venue when the weather is cooler — and it photographs beautifully no matter the season.

The overall vibe of the day was classic and elegant, with just the right amount of cozy fall charm mixed in.

Getting Ready & Wedding Day Style

The wedding party style was absolutely on point. The men wore blue suits, which paired perfectly with the bridesmaids’ green dresses — such a timeless and flattering combination for a fall wedding. Ben’s blue suit complemented Mollie’s gown effortlessly, creating a cohesive and polished look.

And then… the fur jacket. Mollie’s fur jacket was the perfect November accessory — stylish, practical, and incredibly chic. It added such a fun, elevated layer to her portraits and gave us that classic, vintage-inspired wedding feel.

Portraits at The Transept

We took advantage of both the outdoor space near Washington Park and the incredible indoor portrait locations inside The Transept. One of my favorite things about this venue is the variety it offers — even in cooler months.

Inside, we captured portraits near the stained glass upstairs and along the staircase with the beautiful archway near the bridal suite. These spots are absolute favorites of mine and always photograph so well, especially when natural light pours in.

A Traditional Church Ceremony

Mollie and Ben exchanged vows during a beautiful ceremony at St. Francis Xavier Church. The ceremony was meaningful and heartfelt, setting the perfect tone for the rest of the day. Afterward, we returned to The Transept for a fun and lively reception filled with laughter, celebration, and so much joy.
