Some wedding days just feel like magic from the moment you arrive — and Bailey & Jacob’s Marmalade Lily fall wedding was exactly that. From the warm autumn color palette to the intentional details woven throughout the day, this wedding felt thoughtful, joyful, and full of heart in every single moment.
Marmalade Lily is already one of those venues that feels like a dream, but when you add fall colors, golden light, and a couple who truly knows how to have fun together, it becomes something extra special.
A Fall Color Palette Done Perfectly
The colors for this day were stunning — soft sages, burnt oranges, and light buttery yellows that blended seamlessly with the early fall atmosphere. Every detail felt cohesive without being overdone, and it complemented Marmalade Lily’s natural beauty perfectly.
Bailey truly thought of everything when it came to the flatlay details. She had an entire collection ready to go, including the stationery suite, vow books, silk ribbons, loose florals, a trinket tray, wax seals, seating name tags, the guest book, and of course, the rings. Putting it all together was an absolute dream. These are the kinds of details that elevate a wedding day and tell such a complete story.
Even the cake, guest book, and seating chart featured whimsical wildflower elements that tied everything together beautifully — the perfect vibe for Marmalade Lily.
Getting Ready & Sweet Family Moments
Getting ready took place upstairs in the bridal suite, and the energy was light, fun, and full of excitement. Bailey looked absolutely stunning, and the entire morning felt relaxed while still buzzing with anticipation.
When it was time for Jacob to get ready, we captured one of my favorite moments — him and his mom putting on his boutonniere together. These quiet, emotional moments often become some of the most meaningful images from the day.
One of the sweetest moments came with Bailey’s first look with her dad. It was emotional, tender, and such a beautiful pause before the rest of the day unfolded.
An Intimate First Look & Personal Vows
Bailey and Jacob chose to share their first look at the secluded bridge tucked away at the back of the property — one of the most intimate spots at Marmalade Lily. This is where they also exchanged personal vows, just the two of them.
It was emotional, genuine, and incredibly sweet. And just when Jacob thought the moment couldn’t get more memorable, Bailey surprised him by icing him — proving these two truly know how to balance romance with fun. I absolutely loved it.
A Ceremony Surrounded by Nature
The ceremony was everything a fall wedding should be. The florals matched the season perfectly, blending seamlessly with the surrounding landscape. Marmalade Lily truly does an incredible job with their florals — and knowing that many of them come straight from their gardens makes it even more special.
After the ceremony, we captured family and friend portraits. Bailey and Jacob chose to have an intimate bridal party, which kept the timeline relaxed and allowed us to focus on meaningful moments.
Golden Hour Portraits at Marmalade Lily
Once the ceremony wrapped up, the sun came out in full force and gave us the most beautiful light. We explored multiple areas of the property — the open land with the pond and venue in the background, followed by the front gardens for sunset portraits.
Marmalade Lily truly has some of the best sunsets, and the golden glow wrapped around Bailey and Jacob perfectly.
Bailey’s dress was absolutely breathtaking. The appliqué details were everything, and she carried herself with such effortless elegance. Jacob’s dark sage green suit paired beautifully with the fall color palette — truly a perfect choice for the season. We captured a mix of classic portraits, candid moments, twirls, lifts, and laughter-filled shots that felt so true to who they are together.
A Fun-Filled Reception & Sparkler Exit
The reception was just as joyful as the rest of the day — filled with cake cutting, heartfelt first dances, and special parent dances. One of my favorite moments was when Bailey and Jacob slipped away for one last private dance while guests gathered outside for the sparkler exit. With twinkling lights above them, it was such a romantic way to soak in the day together.
The sparkler exit was an absolute blast and the perfect ending to such a beautiful celebration.
Bailey & Jacob, I am beyond grateful you trusted me to capture your wedding day. Your love, your joy, and your attention to detail made this day unforgettable. I am so happy for you both and cannot wait to see where life takes you next.
