I’m Cassidy, Ohio photographer, mom and lover of the beach and pineapples too! I’ll be right there with you counting down until your wedding. In the meantime, I’ll be customizing timelines, planning engagement shoots and editing photos with a detailed eye. Oh and I’m happiest on the beach with a pina colada in hand!

Dayton Art Institute & Dayton Masonic Temple EngagementI’m so excited to share Skylar and Noah’s engagement session on the blog today! We explored two of my absolute favorite locations in downtown Dayton — the Dayton Masonic Temple and the Dayton Art Institute — and their session was equal parts elegant, fun, and timeless.

If you’re looking for classic engagement photo locations in Dayton, Ohio, these two spots truly never disappoint.

Downtown Dayton Engagement Photos

One of the things I love most about both the Dayton Masonic Temple and the Dayton Art Institute is that they photograph beautifully year-round. No matter the season, the stunning architecture provides a neutral, romantic backdrop that pairs perfectly with just about any outfit choice.

The clean lines, soft textures, and historic feel of both buildings make them ideal locations for couples who want a timeless look to their engagement photos — especially in downtown Dayton.

Effortlessly Coordinated Engagement Outfits

Can we take a moment to talk about Skylar and Noah’s outfits?!

Skylar’s white dress photographed beautifully — it was perfect for twirling, spinning, and capturing those candid, joyful moments. And don’t even get me started on her white bow heels! That little bow detail on the back was such a fun and elegant touch. OBSESSED.

Noah’s blue suit paired perfectly with Skylar’s look and complemented the architecture of both locations so well. He looked incredibly sharp — the definition of classic and handsome.

A Fun, Joy-Filled Engagement Session

Beyond how stunning they looked, Skylar and Noah were an absolute joy to photograph. Their personalities really shined throughout the session — lots of laughter, natural moments, and genuine connection.

Skylar is also one of the most organized brides I’ve worked with (and yes… it shows in the best way). I’ve already gotten sneak peeks at her florals, stationery, and reception details for the wedding, and let me just say — it is going to be incredible. Every detail has been thoughtfully planned, and I cannot wait to see it all come together!

Spring Wedding at The Manor House

I’m counting down the days until Skylar and Noah’s spring wedding at The Manor House. If their engagement session is any indication of what’s to come, their wedding day is going to be full of beauty, intention, and so much joy.

Skylar and Noah — thank you for trusting me to capture this season for you. I cannot wait for your big day! 💙
