Oh my gosh, friends—do I have the sweetest engagement session to share with you today! I’m thrilled to showcase Sammy and Jake’s romantic Cincinnati engagement session! We explored the charming streets of Hyde Park and the blooming beauty of Ault Park.

This session wasn’t just any session—it was a loose reenactment of Sammy and Jake’s very first date! Their story began at Coffee Emporium in Hyde Park, and just like their original date, we followed it up with a stroll through Ault Park. How adorable is that?!

We kicked things off at Coffee Emporium, one of the coziest coffee shops in Hyde Park. It was my first time visiting, and let me tell you—so cute! Sammy and Jake ordered their drinks, and in the cutest touch, their cups were labeled “bride” and “groom”!

Another highlight? I got to meet their fur baby, Goose—named after Silly Goose, of course! Goose was the ultimate scene-stealer! Scroll down to see his solo shots. He’s got main character energy for sure.

After capturing some cozy café moments, we switched gears and drove over to Ault Park. This is one of my all-time favorite engagement session locations in Cincinnati! The park was glowing with springtime beauty! Flowers in full bloom, golden hour light peeking through the trees, and that magical Cincinnati spring energy.

A Sunset to Remember: The Perfect Ending to Our Session

Sammy changed into the most cheerful yellow sundress, while Jake opted for a light blue outfit that complemented the garden scenery perfectly. We explored the elegant pavilion, the dreamy gardens, and finished on the rooftop terrace—just in time for one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen. You could even see the storm clouds in the distance, which added a dramatic and colorful backdrop to an already stunning evening.

We truly lucked out with the weather! It was originally forecasted to thunderstorm during our session. Thankfully, the rain held off! This gave us the perfect time to soak in every sweet moment – and every sunset hue!
