A Fall Engagement Session at Glenwood Gardens
Chloe and Sam’s fall engagement session at Glenwood Gardens was one of those sessions that remind me why fall is such a favorite season for engagement photos in Ohio. Glenwood Gardens is always beautiful, but when the fall foliage shows up just right, it truly becomes something special. We absolutely lucked out with peak colors, glowing light, and the most joyful energy from these two.
Golden Hour in the Open Fields
We started their session down in the open fields near the bottom of the park, and wow — the golden glow here was unreal. The sun dipped low enough to create that dreamy, warm light that photographers chase all season long. Chloe and Sam were instantly comfortable together, full of giggles, smiles, and natural connection. These two didn’t need much direction at all — their chemistry did all the work.
Playful, Joyful Moments That Felt Effortless
As we explored the fields, we leaned into movement and playfulness. Walking hand in hand, soft twirls, laughter-filled piggyback rides, and even a few dramatic dips made this portion of the session feel effortless and fun. Chloe and Sam were up for anything, which always leads to the most genuine, emotion-filled images.
Fall Color, Filtered Light, and Cozy Vibes
As we made our way back up through the park, we stopped in one of my favorite fall pockets where the trees create the perfect layered backdrop. The sunlight filtered through the leaves just right, wrapping these two in the prettiest natural glow. This spot gave us a slightly more romantic, cozy feel while still keeping things lighthearted and relaxed.
A Champagne Pop to Celebrate
Of course, we had to celebrate with champagne — and Sam absolutely nailed one of the best champagne pops I’ve ever seen. The spray was perfect, the timing was spot on, and the joy on their faces said it all. We wrapped up the session next to the fountain as the sun continued to glow behind us, raising a glass and soaking in the moment together.
Sessions like this are exactly why I love Glenwood Gardens for fall engagements. It offers so much variety in scenery while still keeping everything close and easy to navigate. Perfect for couples to stay present and enjoy the experience.
