Bailey and Jacob’s love story began in the sweetest way imaginable—first grade! Can you believe they had their first class together? It so heartwarming to think that their journey started in childhood, blossoming into the beautiful relationship they share today.
We kicked off their engagement session at a sentimental location: Summit Elementary, where it all began. Walking through the familiar halls brought back a flood of memories for both of them, making the session even more special! It was delightful to hear their stories, especially about the “walk-a-thon” wall, a cherished part of their early school days. One of my favorite moments was capturing Bailey and Jacob on the swings—a perfect nod to their childhood memories.
Fun fact: our session took place just before Hurricane Helene graced us with her presence! As we arrived at Smale Park in Cincinnati, the skies began to mist, but that didn’t dampen our spirits. In fact, the soft drizzle added a romantic touch to the atmosphere, making their photos even more magical. We actually wrapped up just in time, as it began to rain super hard on the way home from the session!
Jacob looked incredibly handsome in his light blue suit, perfectly complementing Bailey, who was a vision in her corset-styled dress—my absolute favorite style! The way it accentuated her beauty was stunning, making her look radiant throughout the session.
I can’t express how excited I am to capture their wedding next year. Their love story is just beginning, and I feel honored to be part of this special journey.
