While I often blog full wedding days, I also love showcasing lite wedding collections — and Kelly and James’ intimate wedding at The Transept was the perfect example of how beautiful and meaningful smaller celebrations can be.
Lite collections are ideal for couples who want coverage of the ceremony and portraits without a full-day timeline. Kelly and James planned a heartfelt, stylish wedding day that focused on what mattered most — celebrating their marriage with their closest people.
We started the day with bride and groom portraits at Washington Park, just steps from The Transept. This area offers so many portrait opportunities, from greenery to city views, and it’s perfect for couples who want a mix of natural and urban vibes. We also made our way in front of Cincinnati Music Hall, capturing classic shots — including some fun “walking the crosswalk” moments.
James looked sharp in a blue suit, while Kelly absolutely shined in a two-piece short bridal dress that felt modern, chic, and effortless. Before the ceremony, we captured a few quiet moments inside The Transept, taking advantage of its stunning architecture and natural light.
After the ceremony, Kelly and James celebrated with a drink on the patio before heading inside to continue celebrating with family. It was relaxed, joyful, and incredibly intentional — proof that intimate weddings can be just as meaningful and visually stunning as full-scale events.
