Luke and Camille’s summer engagement session at Ault Park was the perfect mix of fun, romantic, and golden-hour magic. From the moment we started, it was clear these two were completely comfortable together. That kind of ease always translates beautifully on camera.
They chose light, neutral outfits that worked perfectly with Ault Park’s architecture and greenery. I always recommend neutrals, pastels, and soft tones for engagement sessions! They photograph timelessly and allow the surroundings to enhance the images rather than distract from them.
We started the session in a super casual outfit, which is one of my favorite ways to kick things off. Casual looks help couples relax, get comfortable in front of the camera, and ease into posing naturally. Once we found our rhythm, Luke and Camille changed into a more elevated date-night outfit. This added a polished and romantic feel to the second half of the session.
As the sun started to dip, we made our way to the top of the Ault Park pavilion. We were greeted by the most beautiful golden glow! The soft light, open views, and classic architecture create the perfect backdrop for engagement portraits.
If their engagement session is any indication, Luke and Camille’s wedding day is going to be an absolute blast! Their personalities shine, their energy is contagious, and photographing them was such a joy.
