Acacia and Connor’s spring engagement session at Wegerzyn Gardens was soft, romantic, and full of fresh spring color. May is one of my favorite months to photograph at Wegerzyn, and this session perfectly showcased why.
We kept things beautifully simple with one main outfit for most of the session. Acacia wore a stunning long pastel pink dress that flowed effortlessly and paired perfectly with the florals in bloom. Connor chose a light-colored outfit that complemented her look without overpowering it — the color coordination was perfection.
Wegerzyn Gardens always delivers when it comes to florals, and this year’s pink and white tulips on the steps were especially stunning. We spent time exploring different areas of the park, including one of my favorite hidden gems — the children’s garden area. When it’s open, this space offers gorgeous textures, greenery, and architectural elements that photograph beautifully and feel a little more tucked away.
Toward the end of the session, Acacia and Connor did a quick outfit change to celebrate another huge milestone — they were both graduating from college this spring! I absolutely love it when couples incorporate meaningful moments like this into their engagement sessions. It adds personality, storytelling, and makes the gallery feel even more special.
Spring engagement sessions like this one feel light, joyful, and timeless. Acacia and Connor were so natural together, and their love for one another truly shone through every image.
I cannot wait to capture their wedding day at Magnolia Estates — it’s going to be incredible.
