I’m so excited to share this blog post this evening! The Seitzman family is absolutely beautiful, and their family session at Cox Arboretum this fall was nothing short of magical. This park is truly one of my favorite spots for sessions—it offers such a variety of scenery, making it the perfect backdrop for any type of shoot. Whether it’s a family session, engagement session, or even seniors, it never disappoints!

The Magic of Golden Hour

For the Seitzmans, we were blessed with the most stunning golden-hour glow. The sun dipped just low enough to cast that warm, dreamy light that makes every photo feel extra special. That golden hue wrapped around them beautifully, making their love and connection shine even more. It’s moments like these that remind me why I adore photographing families—capturing their laughter, their little in-between moments, and the way they naturally interact with each other.

The kiddos were so much fun! I love how each child has their own unique personality, and watching them play, giggle, and explore made for some of the sweetest candid moments. One of my favorite things about photographing families is capturing those genuine interactions—like when the kids burst into laughter at an inside joke or when they hold onto their parents’ hands just a little tighter. Those little moments are everything!

As we walked through Cox Arboretum, we stumbled upon the wildflower patch, which was in perfect bloom! It was such a gorgeous surprise, and to top it off, the colors complemented their outfits beautifully. It was like nature planned the perfect setting just for them! We took our time soaking it all in, capturing some of the most vibrant and joyful shots of the evening.

Already Excited for Our Next Session!

Seeing families come back year after year and watching their kiddos grow is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do! I truly had the best time with this sweet family session at Cox Arboretum, and I already can’t wait until our next session together!
