Akash’s senior session at Cox Arboretum had absolutely perfect weather — and if you’ve been around here a while, you know how much I love this location. Cox Arboretum offers endless variety, no matter the season.

We started with a dressier outfit and then transitioned into a more casual look, giving Akash a great mix of polished and relaxed portraits. One of my favorite parts of this session was including his dog — always a win in my book.

We explored the gardens, ponds, bridges, greenhouse area, and floral displays. The tulips were incredible this year and added such vibrant pops of color throughout the session.

Senior sessions don’t have to be complicated to be impactful. With good light, great locations, and a relaxed approach, you can get an amazing variety of images — and Akash’s session is a perfect example of that.
