Y’ALLLLL. Another Ault Park engagement session, another absolute DREAM ✨ If you know me, you know Ault Park holds a very special place in my photographer heart, and Melissa & Cameron’s session was truly *chef’s kiss* from start to finish.

An Ault Park Engagement Session with Soft, Dreamy Light

We were blessed with the most beautiful soft lighting! It’s the kind every photographer hopes for: glowy, flattering, and perfect for romantic portraits. Melissa and Cameron absolutely nailed their outfit choices, too! Their light, airy color palette paired effortlessly with the greenery and florals throughout the park, making this session an absolute joy to photograph and edit.

A Romantic Picnic Setup for Intimate Engagement Photos

For the first half of their engagement session, we started with the cutest little intimate picnic setup, and oh my goodness… it was ADORABLE. Thoughtful details, cozy vibes, and lots of natural snuggling moments made this portion feel incredibly personal and relaxed. Melissa’s floral dress was a total standout — romantic, feminine, and perfectly suited for an Ault Park engagement session. Cameron complemented her look beautifully with light gray pants and a soft blue button-up. It truly created a timeless and polished feel without being too formal.

After soaking in all those sweet picnic moments, they changed into their second outfits — and WOW. Melissa switched into a stunning emerald short dress that popped beautifully against the garden scenery. Cameron opted for light-toned pants and a neutral shirt that tied everything together seamlessly. This outfit change gave the session a completely new vibe while still feeling cohesive and intentional.

One of my favorite things about Ault Park is how many different looks you can get in a single session. Lush gardens, winding paths, architectural elements, and those iconic pavilion steps — it’s truly a photographer’s playground. During this session, the florals were absolutely thriving, and we made sure to take full advantage of every blooming corner.

We wrapped up Melissa & Cameron’s engagement session near the pavilion steps just as the light turned golden, giving us that soft, romantic glow I’m always chasing. The way these two connect so naturally made every image feel effortless and authentic.
