Hey, I’m Cassidy! I’m an Ohio photographer specializing in weddings and families, a mom, and someone who truly loves the planning just as much as the photos. I’m here for the timelines, the thoughtful details, and the moments you didn’t even realize were happening — and I’ll never say no to a beach trip when work is done.

This styled editorial at Meshewa House on Turner Farm in Cincinnati, Ohio, was such a beautiful collaboration with an incredibly talented team of local vendors. Meshewa House is a stunning historic estate, and this session showcased just how versatile and elegant the venue can be for a wedding day.

The editorial was designed to highlight three main areas of the property: the front lawn, the cocktail hour and ceremony space, and the reception area — each offering a unique atmosphere while still feeling cohesive and timeless.

The Front Lawn at Meshewa House

From the moment you arrive at Meshewa House, the architecture makes a statement. The historic building is absolutely breathtaking and sets the tone for a refined, elevated wedding day.

A lounge vignette was styled near the driveway, creating a welcoming and relaxed space for guests to gather. Lost & Found Event Rentals brought so much character with thoughtfully curated pieces, and the florals styled in vintage suitcases added a romantic, editorial touch. Portraits along the driveway and beside a classic Rolls-Royce made this space feel especially elegant and timeless.

Cocktail Hour & Ceremony Space

The cocktail hour area was beautifully styled and felt both inviting and intentional. The bar setup was a standout feature, complete with custom signage, lush florals, and glassware displayed behind the bar — a perfect blend of function and design.

One of the most unique details was the seating chart, featuring a watercolor illustration of the venue paired with guest names displayed on the reverse side. This area also doubled as a ceremony and portrait location, allowing for effortless flow and multiple photo opportunities throughout the space.

Reception Design

The reception design brought everything together with a rich and elegant color palette. Deep purple velvet linens paired with navy accents created a sophisticated atmosphere, while tall floral arrangements on the head table added height and drama to the space.

Menus at each place setting featured blue and purple watercolor details, tying the design together beautifully. JChar Designs truly elevated the paper goods, and the purple uplighting throughout the venue enhanced the ambiance as the sun began to set. The evening wrapped up with sunset portraits and a fun bubble exit, making for a perfect ending to the editorial.

Meshewa House on Turner Farm is an incredible option for couples looking for a historic Cincinnati wedding venue with both indoor and outdoor flexibility. I would absolutely love to photograph a wedding here in the future!
