Happy Tuesday, everyone! I can’t wait to share Katie and Daniel’s cherished day with all of you! Their beautiful intimate wedding in Xenia, Ohio was incredibly romantic and gorgeous!
Just like many couples during this pandemic, Katie and Daniel revised their wedding plans. Originally, the celebration was to be held in October with many of their friends and family. However, this intimate wedding was moved up to August with just immediate family.
The new location was closer to home…Daniel’s parents’ home in fact! With gorgeous open land for a front yard along with a beautiful wildflower patch, I was in love! Katie knew she wanted portraits with colorful flowers, so of course, that was the first place we went to for their husband and wife pictures!
As soon as I arrived at the dreamy white house, the rain started to sprinkle upon us! Due to this, the ceremony relocated to the reception tent. Truly, it was one of the sweetest ceremonies I have ever seen. It warmed my heart when I witnessed how giddy and excited these two were! As soon as the beautiful couple said “I do” it stopped raining. Talk about great timing, because now it was time to start the portraits outside!
Julie and Ashley, the bridesmaids, surprised the newlyweds with a truly heartwarming gift, a slideshow of videos. All of their family and friends wished Katie and Daniel a lifetime of happiness and love. Laughter and “awws” were contagious throughout the tent with each new video.
Her dress…had pockets!
Daniel looked dapper in his dark suit and Katie was stunning! She wore a beautiful dress…and it had pockets as well! You guys, these are my favorite kind of dresses to wear! Especially when I’m working during a wedding…dress pockets are a blessing!
Even though their original wedding plans shifted a bit, these two experienced a joyous celebration.
Congratulations, Katie and Daniel!
